Founded by Martin, after working in the retirement industry and also watching his elderly mother, it became apparent that our older generation needs an easier more user-friendly way to source local businesses. With the demise of our old telecom books, many of the older generation get lost on the internet, Martin had watched this personally many times over. He decided to establish this site, Only1000 is designed to provide an easier way to find good, honest, hardworking businesses that are eager to help the older generation.

It’s not expensive either if your business wants a space, $10 inclusive of GST for a 12 month listing, renewable for as many years as you’d like once you have reserved your place.
There are no special privilege either, Only1000 lists in alphabetical order, generally how the older generation search.
